Another successful year under our belts!
Please come out this Thursday, December 4 at 6:30pm and join us for our annual Potluck Dinner as we formally celebrate our 60th anniversary. Our annual feast will be held inside the Cadman Elementary cafeteria, and dinner will be catered by Keil's. Everyone is welcome to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
We will also be presenting several awards including:
- Beautification Award
- Board of Directors' Award
- Business of the Year
- Community Volunteer of the Year
- Elected Official of the Year
- Elected Official Staffer of the Year
- Non-Profit/Organization of the Year, and
- Youth Volunteer of the Year
At our last Town Council General Meeting, we conducted elections for our Board of Directors. Congratulations to these incredible community volunteers who were elected:
- Jack Vellis, Treasurer
- Steve Innis, Sergeant-at-Arms
- Rick Richard, Director East
- Steph Groce, Director Central
- Dr. Jennifer Campbell, Director-at-Large (Seat B)
- Simone Henriques, Director-at-Large (Seat C)
Please note that our January meeting will be held on the second Thursday of next month -- the first Thursday is New Year's Day, so there will be no meeting.
Due to our Board elections, we will have new vacancies for Director West, and three Director-at-Large positions. If you're interested in serving on our Board, please e-mail us at Board@ClairemontOnline.com. We will be conducting candidate interviews at our next regularly scheduled Board meeting on Thursday, January 29th at 6:30pm inside the Cadman Elementary Library.
So, lock down those New Year's resolutions and get involved in Clairemont. There's ample opportunities for involvement, and there's no better time to get involved than the first of the year!
Also, our Town Council memberships are due January 1st! Please be sure to renew online at ClairemontOnline.com/Join.
On behalf of our Town Council Board of Directors, please have a wonderful and joyous Holiday season with your friends and family.
Working for you, Clairemont!
